Description

Recovery Tracks-Side Mount Set | Stainless Steel Ezi-Slot Mounts for 4WD Recovery Boards

The Recovery Tracks-Side Mount Set by The Bush Company is a purpose-engineered solution for securely mounting 4WD recovery boards to the side of compatible rooftop tents. Designed to integrate with the Ezi-Slot extrusion system on The Bush Company’s tent range, this stainless steel bracket set offers unmatched corrosion resistance, quick installation, and flexible load handling—making it the ideal choice for overlanders seeking durable, expedition-grade gear storage.

Engineered for Ezi-Slot Tent Compatibility

This bracket set is specifically designed to fit The Bush Company’s rooftop tents with Ezi-Slot channels. The mounting system requires no drilling, spacers, or third-party hardware—offering a clean, integrated fit that reduces wind drag, rattling, and installation time. This direct-to-frame compatibility sets it apart from generic recovery track holders which often require modification or fail to align with tent geometry.

Premium Materials for Harsh Australian Conditions

Each bracket is laser-cut from stainless steel, then finished with a satin black powder coat for optimal corrosion resistance. This is especially important in coastal, humid, or dusty environments where salt, sand, and debris can degrade lower-quality steel or plastic brackets.

Adjustable, Tool-Free Track Mounting

The system includes adjustable M10 80mm stainless steel bolts and large wing nuts, enabling the mounting of up to 12Kg of recovery boards without tools. The bolt spacing accommodates different board thicknesses, offering greater flexibility than fixed-width solutions.  The M10 bolts can be switched out for your cosen recovery boards quick release pins.

Whether storing MAXTRAX MkII, TRED Pro, or other standard recovery boards, this setup ensures secure retention during high-vibration travel on corrugated tracks or remote off-road terrain.

Space-Efficient and Modular Load Capacity

Mounting tracks to the side of your rooftop tent frees up roof rack space for solar panels, jerry cans, or other large gear. The brackets support up to 12kg per set, without affecting tent operation or aerodynamics. This side-mount approach supports modular packing strategies common among serious overlanders.

The store offers so much value for money, has saved me hundreds of dollars over the years by replacing batteries in tools and devices, where the tool manufacturer just wanted me to throw it away and buy another tool. Your service is awesome, staff very friendly. I can highly recommend your business

Big shout out to AJ and the others at Adventure Concepts in Maud St for their patience and detailed explanations of solar. Can hardly wait to call you again and ask what the other button is for… 🤣

Nigel and Kellen did a great job in helping me design and then executing the build of my electrical system for my canopy. Incorporated a few things they were trying for the first time which has worked out perfectly. Highly recommend.

Good service… but not enough to make up for expensive prices. Great little shop, with lots of gear of display, and friendly staff doing a great job while still learning products and expanding product knowledge. Unfortunately though, prices are right on RRP, or just above, which doesn’t really happen much anymore in the age of internet, especially with a large Auto electrician at the end of the same street selling the same products with much more knowledge on offer, and prices that contend with what’s offered online, or within a reasonable range. Hopefully these guys can take this onboard and have a busy store for a long time to come.
